Rave On, You Crazy Diamond The wave of British "IDM" (Intelligent Dance Music - a useful label for the genre if not necessarily an apt description) in the early 90's was to some extent a reaction to hardcore and other sounds endemic to the British rave scene at the time. Some of it in retrospect was not all that bad - then again, some tunes huge at the time are embarrassing at this late date. Tune in for a cross-section of the good and the bad.
