Sailing From Lancaster The Beefheart Odyssey and Legends Despite his claims to the contrary, the good Captain was influenced by plenty of artists and existing music. We'll explore this along with Van Vliet's work from the late 1970s until his retirement from music in 1982. Since this will be on Mother's day, his mythic adventures with Admiral Zappa will be recounted as well. Ann Arbor and Bobo Z set sail from 3-7 p.m.
