In the late 80's Dutch DJs and producers were very quick to latch on to the new house and techno sounds that had infiltrated across the Atlantic from the US and blown up big-time in the UK. Though many Dutch producers were very frank about acknowledging the roots of the music and its influence on their work, they very quickly put their own spin on the sound. This special will give a very brief glimpse at a very vibrant and varied scene, from old school acid house and techno sounds to some of the latest releases.
