England's Kaleidoscope had their ups and downs in the late sixties, but never really achieved the success or recognition they deserved at the time. We recently interviewed Peter Daltrey, Eddy Pumer and Dan Bridgman from the band, who tell the fascinating story of their rollercoaster ride through the sixties and early seventies. The special will be dedicated to their bassist Steve Clark, who sadly passed away six years ago.

Part 1 starts in 1963 with the R & B flavoured sounds of earlier band incarnations The Sidekicks and The Key, and follows their development into the psychedelic pop/rock of Kaleidoscope in 1967-68. The interviews will be interspersed with plenty of music from Kaleidoscope releases and some early Sidekicks demos.
