KMPX and KSAN were a 1960's radio phenomenon . It was a sound, a community and a vital part of life in San Francisco at that time. Thanks to Tom Donahue and his staff, who were unafraid to step outside the box of radio as it had been, a new way of doing radio was born. We'll visit with some of the people who were a part of Donahue's KSAN staff, play the music that made them famous, and offer some new perspectives on what it all meant at the time, and what it still means today.
