Inspired by Florence Foster Jenkins' passion for singing opera, this special will highlight vocalists who are pleasing to the ear and demonstrate the best of the art form. During her Jenkins special, Billie Joe Tolliver played versions of the same songs by professionals for contrast, also to let the listener know what the song was supposed to sound like in the first place. Hearing these voices made her realize the talent and hard work it takes to perform opera. This special will celebrate women in opera and will feature Maria Callas, Montserrat Cabaille, Anna Moffo, Beverly Sills, and Joan Sutherland among others.
