Detroit guitarist Phil Durr died suddenly in January at the tender age of 53. Self taught, brilliantly skilled, and much loved, Durr was a prolific contributor to the Detroit music scene, lending his ace-in-the-pocket axe to high energy roots-rock, funky soul garage, psychedelic art-rock, 3rd wave krautrock, and beyond. Bands featured in this special will include Big Chief, Five Horse Johnson, Luder, Giant Brain, and more. This show will rock.
