KFJC rebroadcasts a special that originally aired on Mayhem 31, 2011 (see playlist). On January 18, 2011, college radio station KUSF-FM was taken off the air without warning and University of San Francisco was attempting to sell the station's FM license to Classical Public Radio Network out of Los Angeles. Although KUSF DJs were fighting the sale, this turn of events left them without a permanent radio home at the time of this special in 2011. We were happy to bring back a small slice of KUSF-FM to the airwaves during Mayhem 2011. DJ Irwin presents "sleeves on hearts," taking a trip through the vast musical map.
