The Film Music of Ennio Morricone

Saturday, July 11 9:00am — 12:00pm

Saturday July 11 at 9AM to Noon
Hosted by Robert Emmett
Ennio Morricone is rightly considered one of the cinema's greatest composers. The opening bars of The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, with the "Ay-ee-ay-ee-ay" howl, is among the most instantly recognizable themes in the history of the movies. But he only scored 35 Westerns out of the 500 films he composed for. On Saturday, July 11th, from 9am to 12noon, listen to a special tribute to Ennio Morricone on the Norman Bates Memorial Soundtrack Show, hosted by Robert Emmett. Three hours of the music he composed for film and television. No way can it be definitive, though a way to honor a legendary film composer.
