Over the course of his career, Luciano Berio (1925-2003) composed a series of 14 tour-de-force solo instrumental works called Sequenzas. They are a landmark of 20th century music and helped to shape our modern concepts of virtuosity, technique, and performance. We'll explore all 14 Sequenzas, including some of their closely related works such as the Chemins, and talk with some Berio experts. Warum?
