Like Rock ’n Roll? Thank Les Paul.

Tuesday, August 13 6:00am — 10:00am

Les Paul was the electronic genius that gave us rock ’n roll music. He invented the solid body guitar (even has one named after him), without which rock wouldn't rock so much. And he developed multitracking, among other electronic toys commonly used in rock music. But he was much more than an inventor. His guitar skills were greatly admired by musicians all over the world. But he wasn’t copied. Mainly, because at the time, nobody could do it. Alongside his wife Mary Ford, they created some of the most inventive music of their time. Listen in as dr doug presents an examination of Les Paul, guitar wizard and inventor extraordinaire.
