As part of the "Female Takeover After-Party," KFJC rebroadcasts the special, "Sound Machine of Limitless Capacity - Zeena Parkins," which originally aired on Mayhem 10, 2013 (see playlist). Multi-instrumentalist/composer/improviser Zeena Parkins has extended the language of the acoustic harp with the inventive use of unusual playing techniques, preparations, and layers of electronic processing. For 4 hours we will explore her career through music, interviews and a live performance in KFJC's Pit.
